Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Discover an exciting contract opportunity for a skilled School Psychologist to make an immediate impact in a supportive educational setting. This position offers flexible, as-needed hours, allowing you to focus on what matters most—providing expert evaluations and helping students thrive. Work with a district that values your expertise and provides excellent resources, including a dedicated psychometrist to handle the majority of assessments and well-equipped testing rooms at each of three buildings. Your responsibilities will include conducting targeted assessments, thorough scoring, and comprehensive report writing, all while collaborating with a professional and welcoming team. You'll play a vital role in supporting students' academic and social-emotional needs, helping shape a positive learning environment.
Desired Qualifications and Experience:
Valid School Psychologist certification with experience in the school setting Familiarity with a broad range of psychoeducational assessment tools and methodologies Strong report writing and data interpretation abilities Excellent communication skills for working with students, staff, and families Ability to work independently while collaborating within a multidisciplinary environment
Key Responsibilities:
