Job Description

Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Make a meaningful impact in the lives of elementary students by supporting their academic and social-emotional growth. This full-time, contract opportunity calls for a dedicated School Psychologist to work with a collaborative team near Bloomington, IL. You'll have the chance to provide essential services within an elementary caseload, focusing on testing, assessment, and comprehensive report writing while being supported by a knowledgeable and welcoming district team.
Key Qualifications/Desired Experience:
Certification/licensure as a School Psychologist (or eligibility to obtain) Experience working with elementary-age students Strong skills in assessment, testing, and report documentation Ability to work effectively as part of a collaborative team Knowledge of IEP process, special education law, and best practices for student support Excellent communication and organizational abilities
Primary Responsibilities:
Conduct psychological and academic assessments for elementary students Write detailed reports summarizing findings and making recommendations Participate in the IEP process, providing expert input and support Collaborate closely with teachers, families, and fellow specialists to develop student interventions Deliver counseling or consultation services as needed to help students achieve their educational goals Maintain accurate and timely records in accordance with district and state requirements
