Job Description

Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Step into a dynamic role as a dedicated School Psychologist, supporting students and staff in an onsite setting for the full academic year. You'll make a lasting difference by fostering a safe, supportive, and inclusive learning environment for students in a welcoming school community located near Brewster, MA.
Key Qualifications & Experience:
Master's or Specialist-level degree in School Psychology from an accredited program Valid and current state licensure or eligibility as a School Psychologist Proven experience working in school settings with diverse student populations Strong assessment, counseling, and consultation skills Ability to collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to advocate for student needs Excellent communication, time management, and problem-solving abilities Commitment to ethical practices and confidentiality
Core Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations to identify student strengths and areas of need Develop and help implement evidence-based intervention strategies for academic, social, emotional, and behavioral concerns Participate actively in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and provide data-driven recommendations Consult with teachers, parents, and administrators to build effective support plans for students Offer crisis intervention and counseling services as needed Support the creation and maintenance of positive school climates promoting student well-being This contract, full-time position offers the chance to collaborate with passionate colleagues and empower students' growth throughout the school year—all while working in a vibrant, supportive environment.
