Job Description

Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students as a School Psychologist for the upcoming academic year in the Philadelphia area. This flexible position centers around conducting assessments on a per-evaluation basis, allowing you to make a lasting impact on student success while enjoying control over your schedule. Assignments are available to begin immediately and extend through the summer and into next school year. Preferred candidates bring a depth of expertise to evaluation and student support, working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary school team. Your experience ensures that children receive the guidance and assistance they need.
Qualifications:
Active Pennsylvania School Psychologist License, or eligibility to secure one before the next school year Proven experience in administering psychoeducational evaluations and interpreting results Strong understanding of academic, emotional, and behavioral needs within diverse student populations Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, families, and related service providers Excellent communication and organizational skills
Responsibilities:
Conduct individualized psychoeducational assessments for referred students Compile comprehensive evaluation reports in a timely manner, providing actionable recommendations Collaborate with IEP teams and participate in eligibility determination meetings Support legal compliance of all documentation with state and federal guidelines Offer consultation to school staff and parents regarding student interventions and support strategies Engage in a meaningful role where your contributions will directly impact students' growth and learning environments.
