Job Description

Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Make an impact in the upcoming 2026-2027 academic year by supporting students' learning and emotional needs as a full-time School Psychologist. This contract position offers up to 40 hours each week, allowing you to truly be present within the school community. You'll provide valuable assessments, consult with educators and parents, and help students thrive both academically and emotionally. On-site collaboration is preferred, letting you foster meaningful relationships and contribute to a positive school environment.
Desired Qualifications & Experience:
Valid certification as a School Psychologist Experience working with students in an educational setting Understanding of psychological assessment tools and intervention strategies Excellent communication and consultation skills Ability to collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals Commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive atmosphere
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational assessments and generate detailed reports Collaborate with educators, parents, and school teams to identify students' needs Develop and help implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Provide counseling and support to students facing academic or social challenges Offer crisis intervention and help cultivate positive behavioral supports Participate in school meetings and contribute to ongoing staff training
