Analog Field Technician/ Low Voltage data tech

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Field Service Technician to join our team 1099 i n this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service and support to our clients in the field, ensuring that all equipment operates efficiently and effectively. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background, excellent customer service skills, the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues promptly, and must have reliable transportation.

Must have tools:

Cable tester hammer drill impact drill 110/66 punch tool tone generator security bits masonry bits Laptop with ethernet port or adapter Responsibilities Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of equipment at customer sites. Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance on various machinery. Utilize precision measuring instruments to ensure accurate assessments of equipment performance. Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues using tools such as voltmeters and ohmmeters. Collaborate with customers to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions. Document service activities in a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS). Operate scissor lifts and other equipment safely while adhering to all safety protocols. Provide training to customers on proper equipment usage and maintenance practices. Maintain a clean and organized work environment at customer locations. Skills Proficiency in using precision measuring instruments, including voltmeters and ohmmeters. Strong understanding of hydraulics systems and low voltage electrical systems. Familiarity with CMMS for tracking service activities is preferred. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients. Installing Cat3 - Cat6 cable and Fiber Ability to operate scissor lifts safely in various environments. Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on detail-oriented troubleshooting. Military experience or training may be beneficial but is not required.
