Job Description

Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Step into a pivotal role where your expertise as a school psychologist can make a tangible impact in the lives of middle school students. This contract opportunity offers an enriching environment in the San Juan Capistrano area, focusing on supporting a vibrant middle school community for the upcoming fall semester.
Key Qualifications:
Hold a Master's degree in School Psychology or a closely related field. Possess a valid and current PPS certification. Prior experience in a school setting, especially with middle school students, is strongly desired. Exceptional communication and collaborative skills. Ability to conduct assessments, provide counseling, and consult with educators and families.
Responsibilities:
Deliver comprehensive psychological services, including evaluations, crisis intervention, and individualized support plans. Collaborate closely with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to foster a positive educational experience. Develop and implement strategies for supporting student social-emotional growth. Maintain accurate and confidential documentation, adhering to district and state guidelines. Serve as a resource for staff on matters relating to student learning, behavior, and mental health.
Details:
Full-time, Monday through Friday, with a contract from August 17th to November 20th. On-site position serving a single middle school location. Manage a caseload tailored for middle school-aged students. This is a unique chance to make a real difference during a key part of the academic year, working with a supportive administration and committed staff.
