Job Description

Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting young learners near Spring Hill, KS as a dynamic school psychologist. In this role, you'll work onsite at both Wolf Creek Elementary and Forest Spring Middle School—conveniently located next to each other—serving students from Kindergarten through 8th grade. Your dedication will ensure students have the guidance and resources they need to thrive both academically and emotionally. Your impact will shine as you become an essential member of the building's collaborative teams, participating in daily problem-solving, student intervention processes, IEP evaluations, and crisis response. Your expertise will help guide students, teachers, and families through important academic and behavioral challenges.
Qualifications:
Valid certification or licensure as a School Psychologist. Previous experience in a school setting supporting K-8 students preferred. Solid understanding of IEP evaluations, student interventions, and crisis response. Strong collaborative and communication skills with staff, students, and families. Commitment to fostering inclusive education and positive school climates.
Responsibilities:
Participate actively in building problem-solving and Student Intervention teams. Serve as a key member of the Building Crisis Team. Conduct timely and thorough IEP evaluations and provide ongoing services. Consult with educators and families to develop effective, evidence-based strategies for student success. Promote social-emotional learning, positive behavior supports, and wellness initiatives school-wide. This full academic year assignment runs from July 30th to June 2nd, offering you the chance to make a meaningful difference in a vibrant educational community.
