Job Description
Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Step into a rewarding contract role providing essential psychological services to students in a dynamic educational setting near Ithaca, NY. You'll work onsite supporting an itinerant caseload across 12 school sites, focusing on both elementary and middle school students. This full-time opportunity runs from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm, Monday through Friday, with a projected start in August 2026. Ideal candidates are skilled professionals passionate about fostering student growth and well-being while collaborating with interdisciplinary teams. You'll serve as a key resource, helping create supportive, effective learning environments.
Qualifications & Experience:
Valid NY School Psychologist license (required) Previous experience in a school setting strongly preferred Strong assessment, consultation, and counseling skills Ability to manage a diverse caseload across multiple school sites Excellent communication and collaboration abilities Commitment to ethical practice and student advocacyKey Responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive psychological assessments for students K-8 Deliver counseling, crisis intervention, and behavior management support Consult with teachers, administrators, and families to promote student success Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team collaborations Develop and implement evidence-based interventions for individual and group needs Travel between assigned sites within the district as neededBenefits:
