To thrive in this role, you'll bring: A Master's degree in School Psychology or related field Current California Pupil Personnel Services (PPS) certification Experience supporting students at the middle school level Strong assessment, counseling, and intervention skills The ability to work collaboratively with teachers, administrators, and families Flexibility, communication effectiveness, and a student-centered approach Key duties include: Conducting psychological evaluations and assessments for students as needed Providing counseling and support services directly to middle schoolers Collaborating with educational professionals to design interventions and support plans Maintaining thorough documentation in compliance with district and state requirements Participating in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and consultation with families Supporting crisis management and positive behavior initiatives as appropriate This contract offers the perfect blend of meaningful student interaction and professional collaboration, all within a vibrant middle school setting.
