Job Description
Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Take your passion for supporting student success to a welcoming district in Washington State. This full-time, onsite contract role is ideal for a dedicated School Psychologist looking to work in a supportive, close-knit environment. You'll have the unique opportunity to serve both elementary and middle school students, helping to foster positive educational and social-emotional outcomes each day. As an integral part of the student services team, you'll collaborate closely with educators, families, and administrators who value your expertise. Your insights will shape interventions and support systems, ensuring every child's needs are met in meaningful ways.
Desired Qualifications:
Current eligibility (or willingness to obtain) Washington State certification through OSPI Previous experience or strong interest in working with elementary and middle school populations Comprehensive understanding of assessment, intervention, and counseling techniques Excellent communication and collaboration skills Flexibility and adaptability in dynamic educational settingsKey Responsibilities:
Conduct psychological assessments and interpret results to assist with educational planning Develop tailored interventions to support academic and behavioral needs Consult regularly with teachers, staff, and parents to promote student success Participate in IEP and 504 plan development, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations Provide crisis intervention and support as needed Foster a positive, inclusive, and proactive approach to student well-being This full-time position is exclusively onsite, providing the chance for in-person engagement and genuine connection with students and colleagues.
