Job Description

Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Step into an impactful career where your expertise as a School Psychologist can make a real difference for middle and high school students. This contract-based opportunity near Shakopee, MN involves two full-time positions, perfect for professionals who thrive when collaborating within dynamic educational environments. You'll work with an evaluation team responsible for approximately 80 assessments throughout the academic year. Balancing a secondary caseload, your work will include both one-on-one and group interventions, helping to support students' academic, social, and emotional development. Regular consultation and participation in meetings with the intervention team will be a key part of your role, providing opportunities to collaborate on best practices and advance student success.
Desired Qualifications:
Valid School Psychologist license or certification (state requirements must be met) Experience providing psychological services to middle and high school students Familiarity with SPED Forms and Q Global platforms preferred Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach to interdisciplinary teamwork Ability to conduct and interpret psychoeducational evaluations and assessments Knowledge of evidence-based interventions and multi-tiered systems of support
Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive assessments and contribute to the completion of approximately 80 annual evaluations Serve a caseload of secondary-level students, providing both direct and consultative services Collaborate regularly with intervention teams and educators to develop strategies for student support Maintain accurate, timely documentation using SPED Forms and Q Global Participate in IEP meetings, family consultations, and other formal gatherings as required Bring your passion and experience to a setting where your impact will be both significant and valued.
