Job Description

Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Step into a school psychologist role where your expertise will impact students and support educational staff in a collaborative, full-time contract position. Multiple opportunities are available for knowledgeable professionals driven to help students achieve their fullest potential. Your responsibilities will include conducting valuable observations, comprehensive evaluations, and Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs). The role also involves active participation in multidisciplinary IEP meetings, ensuring the development and delivery of effective student plans.
Key Qualifications:
Valid Michigan School Psychologist certification Experience performing educational and psychological evaluations Proficiency in conducting Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) Familiarity with IEP processes and regulations Strong communication and organizational skills Ability to build respectful, supportive relationships with students, staff, and families
Core Responsibilities:
Conduct student observations and administer assessments as required Participate collaboratively in IEP meetings, sharing insights and recommendations Complete thorough FBAs to support behavioral interventions Provide consultative support to teachers and staff regarding student needs Document evaluations and findings in compliance with state and district standards Advocate for students' educational, social, and emotional well-being Benefits of this opportunity include competitive compensation within $45/hr to $55/hr, eligibility for healthcare coverage, as well as possible housing and meals/incidentals.
