QUALIFICATIONS:

Valid Michigan School Psychologist Certificate Masters Degree in School Psychology Experience and training in administering and interpreting psychological evaluations within an educational setting Knowledgeable of Special Education rules and regulations Ability to work effectively and collaboratively with students, parents, staff, and administration Must demonstrate ability to communicate (written and verbal) effectively with parents and professionals Strong technology and organizational skills Possess excellent interpersonal skills and ability to facilitate and mediate meetings with parents and school teams to best support students Ability to work effectively in either a face-to-face or virtual environment.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

: Conducts extensive psychological evaluations of students. Interprets psychological data to school personnel, other professionals, parents and the student. Collects data and provides systematic observations for students experiencing challenges in the school setting. Works within a team to conduct Functional Behavior Assessments and help develop behavior plans. Member of school support teams. Participates in Crisis intervention as needed. Stays current on new developments in the field of education. Collaborate with all departments and administration.
