Contract Length:

36 weeks We are seeking School Psychologists for in-person, school-based positions in Aurora, IL for the 2026-2027 school year . These roles support a mix of elementary school sites, a severe/profound program , and outpatient evaluation services . The district is open to full-time or part-time schedules , depending on candidate availability and preferences. Available Assignments Elementary Schools (2 positions) MTSS support, special education evaluations, eligibility meetings, and crisis response Bilingual Spanish strongly preferred for one elementary site Severe/Profound Program (Hope D. Wall School) Medically fragile students with significant cognitive impairments Approximately 2 days per week (flexible scheduling available) Outpatient Evaluations Evaluations and meetings for private placements and in-house programs Sites typically within 30 minutes of Aurora Approximately 2 days per week (flexible scheduling available) Assignments may be combined based on candidate preference and district needs.

Interview Process:

Virtual or in-person Responsibilities Conduct psychoeducational evaluations and assessments Support eligibility determinations and IEP meetings Participate in MTSS and intervention planning Provide crisis support as needed Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families Maintain accurate documentation and compliance Requirements Active Illinois PEL with School Psychologist endorsement Master's degree in Psychology or related field preferred School-based experience preferred; new graduates welcome Bilingual Spanish strongly preferred for select assignments Ability to work fully in person Compensation $80 per hour (local) W-2 position through Amergis For more information or to apply, please contact:
