August 31, 2026 About the Role We are seeking a dedicated School Psychologist to support students in the Astoria School District. In this role, you will help students navigate mental health, behavioral, and developmental challenges while playing a key part in determining eligibility for specialized educational services. You'll work collaboratively with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to create meaningful, student-centered outcomes in a supportive, team-oriented environment. Key Responsibilities Conduct psychological evaluations to determine eligibility for services Perform Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBAs) Participate in Manifestation Determination reviews Support crisis planning and intervention efforts Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including Speech-Language Pathologists and ASD specialists Contribute to student success through data-driven decision-making and consultation Partner closely with another School Psychologist and district leadership
Compensation Local Pay Rate:
$72/hour
Travel Pay Rate:
$38/hour
