Job Description

Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Make a positive impact supporting students' academic, emotional, and behavioral success as a full-time School Psychologist on contract near Baxter, TN! Work collaboratively with educators and families to assess student needs, develop effective plans, and deliver crucial services in a dynamic school environment. Ideal candidates bring deep expertise in psychological evaluations, counseling, and best-practice intervention strategies. Your specialized support will help students thrive and empower teams to build more inclusive, supportive environments.
Qualifications & Experience:
Valid School Psychologist certification/license as required by the state Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or related field Experience with psychological assessment, report writing, and intervention within a school setting Strong knowledge of educational laws, including IEP/504 processes and IDEA Excellent communication and consultation skills with staff, parents, and students Organizational skills to manage caseloads, evaluations, and documentation effectively
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct psychoeducational evaluations to identify student strengths and needs Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and help develop IEPs, 504 Plans, and behavioral intervention plans Provide direct counseling and behavioral support to students, individually and in groups Consult with teachers, administrators, and families to create supportive academic environments Support crisis intervention and problem-solving efforts school-wide Maintain thorough and timely documentation in compliance with all regulations Connect your passion for student well-being with meaningful action in a collaborative, friendly school setting.
