Job Description
Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Step into a dynamic and rewarding contract opportunity designed for dedicated School Psychologists for the 2026-2027 academic year. This full-time role offers the chance to work across multiple school environments, supporting students from kindergarten through twelfth grade.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide psychological services across 11 school sites, ensuring consistent support for a diverse K-12 student population Conduct comprehensive student assessments and contribute to eligibility determinations Participate actively in crisis intervention efforts, collaborating with staff and families to support student well-being Serve as a vital member of the MTSS team, working closely with educators on interventions and strategies Maintain thorough, confidential documentation and reports as required by the school districtYour Qualifications:
Master's degree in School Psychology North Carolina Department of Public Instruction School Psychologist license (or eligibility to obtain) Licensed Psychological Associate (LPA) credential Strong communication and collaboration skills Experience or familiarity with student assessment, crisis intervention, and MTSS frameworks This is a chance for experienced professionals—and those new to the field—who are eager to make a lasting impact across a diverse community of schools.
