School Psychologist Vernon Hills, IL | Elementary School | 2026-2027 School Year Up to $80/hour | Full-Time | Monday-Friday We are seeking a dedicated and student-centered School Psychologist to join an elementary school team in Vernon Hills, Illinois for the 2026-2027 school year. This is a full-time opportunity offering competitive hourly pay, consistent weekday hours, and the chance to make a meaningful impact on young learners during critical stages of development. The client is seeking a bilingual Spanish-speaking School Psychologist, however qualified monolingual candidates are strongly encouraged to apply. Position Overview The School Psychologist plays a vital role in supporting students' academic, emotional, and social success. In this role, you will assess student needs, contribute to eligibility determinations for special education and related services, and collaborate with educators, families, and support staff to promote positive student outcomes. You will provide on-site psychological services in accordance with state and district guidelines, helping students overcome mental health, behavioral, and developmental challenges in a supportive elementary school environment. Key Responsibilities Conduct psychoeducational evaluations and assessments Support eligibility determination for special education and other support services Provide consultation and collaboration with teachers, families, and school staff Support student social-emotional and behavioral development Maintain compliance with state, district, and professional standards Qualifications Current and valid state license and/or certification in the state of assignment Experience with pediatric and adolescent populations preferred Master's degree in Psychology preferred Strong understanding of professional standards of practice CPR certification (if applicable) TB screening (questionnaire, PPD, or chest x-ray as required) Current Health Certificate (per contract or state regulation) Must meet all federal, state, and local employment requirements Minimum age requirement: 18 years Why This Opportunity?
