Job Description

Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Make a meaningful impact working with K-12 students as a skilled School Psychologist in a dynamic educational setting. This full-time contract position offers the opportunity to collaborate closely with students, families, and educational staff, providing critical support and expertise. As a valued professional, you'll engage with a diverse caseload from kindergarten through high school, using your evaluation and assessment skills to help students thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.
Key Qualifications:
Current South Carolina licensure as a School Psychologist (School Psych II required) Proven ability to conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments Previous experience or strong interest working within K-12 school environments Excellent communication and collaboration skills with students, staff, and families Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Primary Responsibilities:
Perform psychological assessments and evaluations for students in accordance with district standards and SC regulations Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and support individualized education plans (IEPs) Provide consultation and guidance to teachers, parents, and staff on students' educational and behavioral needs Keep accurate, detailed records of evaluations, interventions, and student progress Contribute to a positive school climate by promoting social-emotional learning initiatives This role offers a full-time schedule of 37.5 hours each week in a supportive and professional school environment.
