Job Description

Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Step into a dynamic contract opportunity supporting students and staff as a School Psychologist. This engaging role offers the chance to provide critical psychological services, collaborate with educational teams, and help students succeed academically, socially, and emotionally. Working within a managed service provider (MSP) environment, you'll enjoy streamlined processes and the chance to focus on what truly matters—making a difference in young lives.
Desired Qualifications:
Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or a related field Valid state licensure and certification as a School Psychologist Thorough understanding of special education laws, IEP processes, and Section 504 accommodations Strong evaluation, assessment, and intervention skills Effective interpersonal and communication abilities for collaborating with teachers, administrators, caregivers, and students Previous experience in school-based settings preferred Commitment to ethical standards and ongoing professional development
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational assessments and interpret results for educational planning Collaborate in the development, implementation, and review of IEPs and 504 Plans Provide direct and consultative services to students, addressing emotional, behavioral, and learning challenges Participate in crisis response, behavioral interventions, and positive behavior support initiatives Facilitate group and individual counseling as needed Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure student success and wellbeing Maintain thorough, compliant documentation and progress reports As part of this contract opportunity, you'll work within a supportive framework that values your expertise, autonomy, and commitment to student success.
