Job Description

Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding role supporting K-12 students as a dedicated school psychologist in the district near Fishers, IN. This contract position is perfect for professionals passionate about fostering academic success and emotional well-being for learners of all ages. Two positions are available, beginning August 3, 2026, and continuing through June 7, 2027. You'll enjoy a consistent 35-hour work week, following one of two schedules: 8:50am-3:30pm or 7:30am-2:20pm, always working onsite and making a real difference in the school environment.
Desired Qualifications & Experience:
Valid state licensure/certification as a School Psychologist Experience working in a K-12 educational setting, with a flexible approach to handling a diverse caseload Strong knowledge of psychological evaluations, interventions, and consultative practices in schools Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student growth Commitment to ethical and evidence-based practice Adaptability to work district-wide according to the school's needs
Primary Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational assessments Develop intervention strategies for students based on assessment findings Consult with teachers, administrators, and families to implement supports and interventions Assist with the development and monitoring of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Support crisis intervention and prevention efforts Contribute to school-wide programs promoting mental health and positive student outcomes
