Job Description

Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Make a positive difference in early childhood education as a school psychologist supporting Little Trappers/Early Childhood programs. This contract opportunity allows for either part-time or full-time engagement, depending on your availability and preference. Ideal candidates will use their expertise to assist with Child Find evaluations and provide counseling at the pre-K level, helping lay the foundation for lifelong learning and well-being. Your work will have a direct impact on young children and families as they navigate important developmental milestones.
What we look for:
Licensed or credentialed as a school psychologist (or eligibility for state licensure) Experience with early childhood populations, ideally in pre-K settings Strong knowledge of Child Find processes, assessments, and special education procedures Ability to conduct comprehensive evaluations and interpret results Experience providing counseling or behavioral support to young children Excellent communication skills for teaming with families and educators Flexibility to work full or part-time as needed Key responsibilities include: Conducting and documenting Child Find evaluations for suspected developmental or behavioral concerns Delivering counseling and consultation services for pre-K students Collaborating with teachers, parents, and support staff to develop intervention strategies Supporting the development of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) as appropriate Promoting positive social-emotional growth in early childhood settings This is the chance to shape early learning experiences and offer critical support to students and families at a foundational stage.
