Job Description
Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Make a difference as a School Psychologist in a dynamic, supportive educational environment serving K-12 students. This flexible, part-time contract role offers 20 hours per week as an itinerant specialist, traveling between schools and engaging with diverse learners across multiple grade levels. You'll play an integral role in fostering student growth, collaborating with educators and families, and supporting overall school success. Responsibilities include implementing Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS), conducting comprehensive student evaluations, and actively participating in IEP meetings to help shape the best possible outcomes for students.
Desired Qualifications & Requirements:
Must hold valid Michigan School Psychologist certification Experience working with K-12 students in school settings preferred Strong knowledge of MTSS frameworks and intervention strategies Expertise in conducting formal psychoeducational evaluations and writing reports Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams, teachers, and parents Excellent communication and organizational skills Flexibility and willingness to travel between multiple school sites as an itinerant professionalKey Responsibilities:
Deliver direct and consultative psychological services for a range of student needs Lead and support MTSS implementation at assigned sites Conduct student assessments and contribute thoughtfully to IEP development Consult with teachers, staff, and families to improve student engagement and achievement Maintain thorough documentation and uphold compliance with educational standards This opportunity offers competitive pay ranging from $50 to $55 per hour, along with the potential for healthcare benefits, housing, and meals/incidentals for eligible candidates.
