Job Description

Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract A contract opportunity is available for a dedicated School Psychologist with experience working across diverse K-12 settings. This full-time position (37.5 hours per week) runs from ASAP through June 4th, 2027, providing ample time to make a meaningful impact with students and collaborate with a supportive educational community. As a School Psychologist, you will handle a varied caseload of students in grades K-12, performing essential evaluations in multiple school buildings. Your expertise will be essential in assessing student needs, collaborating with educators and parents, and contributing to a positive school environment.
Qualified applicants should have:
Active Michigan School Psychologist certification Previous experience working as a School Psychologist or closely related roles in school environments Strong skills in conducting psychoeducational evaluations and interpreting assessment results Effective communication abilities to engage with students, families, and educational teams Adaptability and organizational skills to support various school sites throughout the week Key responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive evaluations for students across K-12 grade levels Provide consultation and recommendations to teachers, families, and administrators Assist in the development of intervention plans and support strategies Maintain accurate records and comprehensive reports Travel between assigned school buildings as needed during the week The compensation for this position ranges from $53/hr to $60/hr, and eligible candidates may receive a benefits package that includes healthcare, as well as housing and meals/incidentals for those who qualify.
