Job Description
Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Make a meaningful impact on students' lives as a dedicated School Psychologist working on a contract basis in a thriving educational setting. In this role, you'll collaborate with educators, families, and administrators to support student success, foster a positive school climate, and provide essential psychological services. Your expertise will help identify student needs, promote mental health, and guide interventions that enable every learner to reach their fullest potential. You'll have the chance to engage with diverse student populations and play an influential role in shaping positive educational outcomes.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
Master's or Specialist degree in School Psychology or related field (required) Current state licensure or eligibility as a School Psychologist Strong assessment and diagnostic skills using various psychological testing tools Previous experience in a K-12 educational environment preferred Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills Ability to develop and implement effective intervention and support plans for studentsKey Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations to assess academic, emotional, and behavioral needs Consult with teachers, staff, and parents regarding classroom strategies and individualized student supports Develop and contribute to Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and Section 504 plans Provide crisis intervention, counseling, and direct support to students Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and facilitate collaboration across educational contexts Maintain clear, confidential records and ensure compliance with all state and federal education regulations This contract opportunity offers flexibility to balance your professional and personal life while making a real difference in students' day-to-day experiences.
