Job Description

Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Step into a dynamic role supporting students' growth and success as a School Psychologist in an elementary education environment. In this full-time, on-site contract opportunity, you'll use your expertise to help shape positive outcomes for young learners throughout the 2026-2027 academic year. Work collaboratively within a supportive school community, providing valuable assessment and intervention services.
Qualifications:
Valid certification or licensure as a School Psychologist Previous experience with elementary-age students preferred Strong background in psychoeducational assessment, counseling, and consultation Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently while also collaborating within multidisciplinary teams Commitment to promoting equity, inclusion, and positive learning environments Must be available on-site for the full contract period: August 13, 2026, through May 27, 2027
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify students' needs and strengths Develop and recommend individualized intervention strategies Consult with teachers and families to support students' academic and social-emotional development Help create and monitor the implementation of IEPs Support crisis interventions and participate in multidisciplinary team meetings Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with professional and legal standards
