Job Description
Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Step into a meaningful role supporting student growth and well-being as a School Psychologist on a contract basis. This flexible, part-time opportunity for the 2026-2027 school year is perfect for professionals passionate about educational psychology, assessment, and working collaboratively within school environments. With a manageable workload focused on an average of three evaluations per month—primarily initial assessments—you'll have the chance to make a focused, lasting impact on students and their families.
Key Qualifications & Experience Sought:
Active School Psychologist certification/license in Delaware or eligibility to obtain. Master's or Specialist degree in School Psychology or a closely related field. Prior experience in conducting psycho-educational evaluations in a school setting, with a strong understanding of special education protocols and eligibility processes. Skilled in utilizing various assessment tools to evaluate cognitive, academic, behavioral, and emotional development. Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams. Organized and self-motivated, with strong attention to detail and ability to manage part-time responsibilities.Main Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive initial psycho-educational evaluations (approx. three per month) for students as referred. Prepare clear, timely, and thorough reports and recommendations to inform eligibility decisions and support strategies. Collaborate closely with teachers, counselors, administrators, and families to interpret results and guide interventions.
