Job Description

Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Step into a pivotal role supporting high school students by providing comprehensive psychological services within an educational setting. This contract opportunity, based onsite near Maple Park, IL, spans the academic year from August 10, 2026, through May 14, 2027, with work hours from 7:30 AM to 3:00 PM. As a dedicated school psychologist, you'll manage a caseload of approximately 30 high school students, collaborating closely with educators and families to empower student success.
Qualifications:
Active School Psychologist licensure for Illinois is required Experience working with high school students preferred Strong understanding of evaluation, assessment, and counseling practices within a school environment Ability to work onsite and engage with students, staff, and families in person Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
Responsibilities:
Conduct psychological evaluations and re-evaluations for high school students Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) Provide crisis intervention, individual and group counseling, and behavioral support Interpret assessment data and offer recommendations for instructional and behavioral interventions Attend and participate in multidisciplinary team meetings Support the emotional and social well-being of students through evidence-based practices This contract position offers you the chance to make a meaningful difference in students' lives, shaping their academic and personal growth throughout the school year.
