Job Description

Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding full-time contract position for the 2026/2027 academic year as a School Psychologist. In this vital role, you'll serve as an essential resource for students, educators, and families by providing comprehensive psychological services and fostering a supportive educational environment.
Key Qualifications:
Valid School Psychologist certification or eligibility in Indiana Master's or Specialist degree in School Psychology or a related field Experience conducting psychological assessments and interpreting results Familiarity with developing and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Strong communication and collaboration skills with students, staff, and families Compassionate, student-focused mindset Initiative to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
Core Responsibilities:
Conduct psychoeducational evaluations, observations, and counseling for students Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to develop strategies that enhance student success Participate in IEP meetings, write evaluation reports, and help determine appropriate interventions Provide crisis intervention and address behavioral and emotional issues Consult with staff on classroom management and behavioral support Support school-wide initiatives promoting mental health and wellness
