Job Description

Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Exciting new opportunity for an experienced School Psychologist to make a meaningful impact in a K-6 educational setting near Morrisville, NC! This full-time, contract position plays an integral role within the school community, collaborating with educators, administrators, and families to support student success and well-being. In this position, you'll work on-site and engage directly with elementary students, conducting comprehensive assessments and evaluations. Your expertise will help identify and address students' individual needs—ensuring they have the support and resources necessary to thrive. You'll join a dedicated group of professionals committed to fostering an inclusive and positive learning environment.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
Current licensure as a School Psychologist Prior experience supporting elementary-age students preferred Strong knowledge of assessments, evaluations, and IEP processes Excellent communication skills for collaboration with students, staff, and families Ability to work effectively in-person and adapt to the evolving needs of the school
Key Responsibilities:
Provide direct and indirect psychological services to K-6 students Conduct individual student evaluations, assessments, and re-evaluations Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and provide input on intervention strategies Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with school and state guidelines Partner with staff and parents to develop and monitor student support plans This contract role offers a chance to make a lasting difference in young learners' lives—and gives you the opportunity work with a supportive educational team.
