Job Description

Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Make a meaningful difference in the lives of students by supporting their growth and well-being. This contract role for a School Psychologist offers the opportunity to collaborate with educators, parents, and administrators while contributing expertise in psychological assessment and intervention.
Qualifications and Experience:
Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology (or related field) Valid and current certification as a School Psychologist Experience conducting individual and group counseling, as well as developing IEPs Proficient in psychoeducational assessments, data interpretation, and intervention strategies Familiarity with special education law and best practices for supporting diverse learners Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
Responsibilities and Duties:
Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments to determine students' strengths and needs Provide direct counseling and intervention services for students, both individually and in groups Collaborate with teachers and multidisciplinary teams to develop effective Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Participate in the Response to Intervention (RTI) process, assisting with data collection and analysis Work closely with families, educators, and outside agencies to promote positive student outcomes Support crisis response and trauma-informed practices within the school community Maintain accurate and timely documentation of assessments, services provided, and student progress This engaging contract role offers the satisfaction of working in a supportive educational setting, making a direct impact on student achievement and well-being.
