Job Description

Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. In this contract, full-time opportunity, you will collaborate closely with educators, families, and support staff, working to foster positive outcomes for young learners throughout the entire school year.
Qualifications & Experience:
Certification or licensure as a School Psychologist (state requirements must be met) Previous experience with PreK-5th grade populations preferred Strong understanding of assessment tools and intervention strategies Excellent communication and collaboration skills Ability to create and implement individualized support plans Familiarity with special education processes and documentation
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations for students Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to develop interventions that support student learning and well-being Participate in Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS) and Response to Intervention (RTI) processes Assist with Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings, providing expertise in assessments and goal planning Deliver direct and indirect services to support students' social, emotional, and academic growth Provide crisis intervention and contribute to school-wide prevention initiatives Enjoy the chance to immerse yourself in a welcoming school community near Peotone, working alongside passionate colleagues who value your insights and commitment to student success.
