Job Description

Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Step into a dynamic contract role as a School Psychologist, supporting students and staff across two welcoming school sites near Rainier, OR. This full-time itinerant opportunity is focused on psychoeducational re-evaluations with minimal counseling, offering variety in your workweek and the chance to collaborate with dedicated educational teams. You'll be backed by a supportive environment with established procedures, making it easier to focus on impactful evaluations and effective consultation.
Key Qualifications:
Hold an active Oregon School Psychologist license or TSPC credential Previous experience with school-based evaluations, especially re-evaluations, is highly valued Exceptional written communication and organizational skills Comfortable managing a flexible, itinerant schedule between two nearby campuses Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams and families
Primary Responsibilities:
Conduct and document psychoeducational evaluations, focusing on triennial re-evaluations Create detailed, compliant reports Participate in IEP meetings, sharing valuable insights and collaborating on student plans Stay on top of state and federal compliance, ensuring all deadlines are met Offer consultation and guidance to staff and families as needed This position begins as soon as possible and extends through the 2026-2027 school year. You'll enjoy full-time hours (37.5-40 per week) and manageable travel between two closely located sites, supported by a strong team at each location.
