Job Description

Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Make a meaningful impact by supporting students' success and well-being for the 2026-27 school year in a school-based psychology role, located within the scenic surroundings near Randolph, Vermont. This contract opportunity spans from late August through mid-June, offering a rewarding chance to contribute to students' academic and personal growth in an engaging educational environment. Key Qualifications and Experience:
Hold current, valid credentials in line with state requirements for school psychologists Demonstrated background in school psychology, including assessment, counseling, and consultation with school teams Ability to work exclusively on-site with students and staff (remote not available) Adaptability and strong communication skills for collaborating in dynamic school teams Passion for supporting the diverse needs of children and adolescents
Key Responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive psychological services—including assessment, counseling, and intervention—to support student learning and well-being Consult with educators and parents to develop effective support plans for students Interpret evaluation results and offer guidance in eligibility meetings Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to design and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs) and interventions Maintain accurate records and ensure all services are consistent with ethical and legal standards
