Job Description
Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Step into a rewarding opportunity supporting student success in a vibrant, close-knit educational environment. A school-based position is available for an experienced School Psychologist to provide essential services to Pre-K through 2nd grade students, with occasional responsibilities involving high school students. The majority of your time will be spent making a difference at the elementary level, as assessment needs at the high school are limited. This contract position spans the 2026-2027 academic year, with a weekly commitment of 30-35 hours.
Qualifications and Preferred Background:
Valid TN School Psychologist license required Previous experience working within Pre-K through high school populations is preferred Strong assessment, counseling, and consultation skills with students, educators, and families Comfortable collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and diverse student groups Excellent organizational and record-keeping abilities Demonstrated commitment to fostering inclusive and supportive school culturesKey Responsibilities:
Conduct psychoeducational evaluations and assessments Collaborate with teachers, families, and staff to create individualized plans that best support student needs Deliver crisis intervention and counseling as needed Maintain accurate documentation and confidentiality per district and state guidelines Participate in IEP and eligibility meetings, offering insights and advocating for student well-being Provide consultation to school staff to improve academic, social, and emotional outcomesBenefits and Perks:
