Job Description

Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Make a meaningful impact supporting students' academic and emotional growth as a contract school psychologist. This full-time opportunity offers a dynamic role within a reputable district, serving a diverse K-12 student population. Your expertise will be essential in conducting evaluations and assessments that drive informed decisions and help shape individualized educational plans.
Key Qualifications:
Hold an active South Carolina School Psychologist license (School Psych II required) Proven experience working in K-12 school settings with students of varying backgrounds and needs Expertise in conducting psychological and educational assessments Strong communication and collaboration skills when working with students, educators, and families Ability to manage a full-time schedule (37.5 hours per week)
Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations for students across all grade levels (K-12) Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams to interpret data and develop recommendations Participate in the creation and implementation of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Offer consultative support and guidance to educators and parents Maintain thorough, timely, and confidential records related to assessments and student progress This contract position will allow you to contribute your talents to an environment that values student wellbeing and achievement.
