Job Description

Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Discover a fulfilling opportunity to make a real difference in students' lives as a School Psychologist on a contract basis in an engaging educational setting near Winfield, KS. This role offers the chance to collaborate with dedicated educational teams and support the growth and development of students across various age groups.
Preferred Experience & Qualifications:
Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or a related field Valid state certification or license for School Psychologists Previous experience working in a school environment (preferred) Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills Ability to conduct student assessments and interpret psychological data Commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive school climate
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and evaluations for students referred for academic, behavioral, or emotional concerns Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with teachers, families, and service providers Provide direct counseling and intervention services to students individually and in groups Participate actively in multi-disciplinary team meetings to determine appropriate support strategies Consult with educators, parents, and administrators to design and implement effective behavioral and academic interventions Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with relevant policies and regulations Experience varied days working alongside skilled professionals, leveraging your expertise to champion student success and wellness.
