School Psychologist - Mobile, AL ProCare Therapy - 3.9 Mobile, AL Job Details Full-time | Contract Qualifications School experience Psychological testing School psychology Student assessment Full Job Description Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Discover the opportunity to make a difference in the lives of students as a school psychologist or psychometrist with a contract position supporting K-12 learners. This role is based near Mobile, AL, with assignments across both a public elementary campus and an itinerant private school cluster. You'll play an essential part in student support and assessment, collaborating with educators and families to deliver comprehensive services. Candidates must be available for on-site responsibilities, ensuring meaningful face-to-face engagement with students and staff. Applicants will be considered exclusively for in-person interviews scheduled for April 27, 2026. The assignment runs from March 23, 2025, through May 29, 2026, with a strong possibility of extension into the summer and following school year based on performance.
Required Qualifications & Preferred Experience:
Active and current Alabama school psychology license Experience supporting students in kindergarten through 12th grade Flexibility for potential itinerant work across multiple school locations Strong assessment, counseling, and consultation skills Ability to provide direct and indirect services to support student success Commitment to maintaining clear documentation and adhering to district requirements Comfort presenting credentials and completing time-sensitive documentation
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver psychological assessments and interpret results for students referred by the district Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary school teams Develop and recommend appropriate interventions and supports Offer consultation and crisis intervention as needed Maintain detailed, confidential records in compliance with local guidelines Travel between assigned school locations as required This contract role offers consistent full-time hours and the rewarding experience of supporting diverse educational settings.
