Job Description

Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Step into a meaningful contract opportunity in the Waelder, TX area, making a difference as a School Psychologist in a dynamic educational environment. Collaborate with educators, families, and administrators to support students' emotional, behavioral, and academic well-being. This role offers the chance to work alongside a supportive school staff committed to driving student success.
Requirements and Desired Background:
Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited program Current, valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a School Psychologist Experience conducting psychoeducational assessments and writing corresponding reports Strong understanding of Response to Intervention (RTI) and Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS) Excellent communication and collaborative skills for working with students, parents, and multidisciplinary teams Ability to provide counseling, behavioral interventions, and targeted support for individual education plans (IEPs) Experience in a K-12 school setting is preferred
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct assessments and interpret results for special education eligibility Develop and implement behavioral and academic intervention strategies Collaborate with teachers, parents, and specialists to design and monitor students' plans and progress Participate in IEP meetings and provide ongoing consultation for student support teams Offer direct intervention and counseling services to students as appropriate Maintain accurate records and thorough documentation in compliance with legal and district guidelines Discover the rewards of supporting young learners and working with a dedicated education network.
