Qualifications & Desired Experience:

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in New York State Previous experience in a school setting preferred, but not mandatory Confident clinical judgment and strong assessment skills Ability to communicate effectively with students, staff, and families Calm, professional demeanor, especially in high-pressure or emergent situations Current CPR/BLS certification

Key Responsibilities:

Provide direct nursing care to students during school hours, including administering medication and managing chronic health conditions Respond promptly to medical emergencies and assist with injury or illness assessment and documentation Collaborate with educators and support staff to promote health and safety throughout the school environment Maintain accurate, up-to-date health records, adhering to all confidentiality regulations Educate students on health practices and hygiene as appropriate This contract features a Monday through Friday schedule, from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM, creating work-life balance and the chance to make a meaningful difference in students' lives.
