School Sign Language Interpreter - On-site 26/27 School Year

Degree in American Sign Language (ASL) Interpreting, certified ASL Interpreter credentials, and 1+ year of experience as an ASL Interpreter in educational settings. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Blazer Jobs is seeking a qualified Sign Language Interpreter for a full-time, onsite role supporting students throughout the school day. The interpreter will facilitate communication by interpreting instructional content and auditory information, as well as supporting student understanding and social interactions with peers.

Job Responsibilities :

Interpret classroom instruction and auditory information for assigned students Provide clarification or re-teaching as needed to ensure comprehension Facilitate communication between students and peers during social interactions Collaborate with teachers and school staff to support student success Maintain professionalism and confidentiality in all school settings

Qualifications :

Active Georgia Sign Language Interpreter licensure/credentials required EIPA score of 3.5 or higher required Active Georgia Educator's Certification required Full-time availability for the 2026-2027 school year Strong communication and interpersonal skills How to
