Job Description

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity serving as a Speech-Language Pathologist in a supportive school setting near Burnsville, MN. As a valued SLP, you'll play a pivotal role in supporting the communication and learning needs of early childhood special education students, contributing to their growth and success. This assignment starts as soon as possible and runs through June 4, 2026, with the potential for summer evaluation responsibilities.
Key Qualifications:
Valid Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) licensure in Minnesota with CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence) required Prior experience in school-based settings strongly preferred Expertise in early childhood special education (ECSE) services is desirable Ability to conduct comprehensive evaluations and implement targeted interventions for young learners Excellent communication and collaboration skills with students, staff, and families Commitment to maintaining compliance with IEPs and school district procedures
Primary Responsibilities:
Provide direct assessment and intervention services for the ECSE caseload Perform leave coverage for current staff, managing ongoing therapy schedules and documentation Collaborate with teachers, paraprofessionals, and support staff to facilitate optimal student outcomes Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to educational planning and decision-making Ensure timely and accurate documentation in accordance with district and state requirements Conduct additional summer evaluations as needed This full-time, on-site role offers stability, professional growth, and the chance to make a meaningful impact throughout the school year.
