Job Description

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. This opportunity spans from July 6th to August 14th and is ideal for professionals dedicated to fostering communication skills and supporting educational success. You'll work with a diverse K-12 caseload in a collaborative school-based environment close to Orchard Park, NY.
Key Qualifications:
Current Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) license in New York State Open to both Clinical Fellow Year (CFY) and Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) candidates Experience working with school-aged children (K-12) preferred Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills Ability to develop individualized plans and track student progress effectively
Primary Responsibilities:
Deliver direct assessment and therapy services to a K-12 caseload Evaluate communication disorders and create personalized intervention plans Collaborate with teachers, families, and support staff to enhance student outcomes Maintain thorough and timely documentation of evaluations, progress notes, and treatment plans Participate in IEP meetings and contribute as a valued member of the educational team Promote a positive, inclusive learning environment that supports each student's growth
