Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Make a meaningful impact by supporting students' communication and language development in an educational setting as a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist. Work closely with students, educators, and families to foster an inclusive learning environment and help each student reach their full potential.
Qualifications & Experience:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) Valid state licensure to practice as an SLP in educational settings Previous experience in school-based speech therapy highly valued Excellent communication, collaboration, and documentation skills Comfortable working with diverse student populations and a variety of speech/language needs
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive assessments to diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student's needs Provide direct therapy services individually or in small groups in accordance with IEP goals Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to ensure coordinated care Maintain timely and accurate records and progress reports Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and support the Response to Intervention process Offer guidance and resources for staff and families to help further student success
