Job Description

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Step into a rewarding contract opportunity for the 2026-2027 academic year, providing speech-language services to K-12 students in a dynamic school-based setting near scenic Stuart, VA. This full-time position allows you to use your expertise as a speech-language pathologist to make a lasting impact as you support students' communication skills and help them achieve their educational goals.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Valid state licensure or eligibility as a Speech-Language Pathologist Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred; CFY candidates considered Prior experience in a K-12 school environment is advantageous Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills Ability to provide therapy across a diverse student caseload
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct assessments to determine speech and language needs for K-12 students Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) that address speech-language goals Provide direct and consultative therapy services individually and in group settings Collaborate with educators, families, and other service providers to support student progress Maintain clear documentation of services, progress, and communication with the school team Participate in school meetings and multi-disciplinary teams to advocate for students' needs This is a fantastic opportunity to influence young learners' lives throughout the full academic year, working within an encouraging educational community.
