Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Embark on a rewarding contract assignment as a Speech Language Pathologist serving K-12th grade students for the 2026-2027 academic year. This full-time role offers a dynamic environment and the opportunity to provide direct and indirect therapy and support services in a school-based setting. With a schedule spanning August 6, 2026, through May 27, 2027, your expertise will help students achieve their communication goals without the expectation of extra non-therapeutic duties.
Qualifications & Experience:
Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology or Communication Sciences Active state licensure (or eligibility) for Speech Language Pathology in Arizona Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates considered Prior experience in K-12 school settings preferred, though motivated new graduates are encouraged to apply Knowledge of IEP process, goal development, and data collection practices Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
Responsibilities:
Deliver direct and indirect speech and language services to a diverse K-12 caseload Assess, diagnose, and develop treatment plans tailored to individual student needs Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to promote student progress Maintain accurate documentation and participate in IEP meetings as needed Focus exclusively on therapy-related duties within contracted hours, free from lunch, bus, or recess responsibilities
