Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into an exciting opportunity making a real difference in the lives of young learners! This contract position is ideal for a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist passionate about supporting children from preschool through 6th grade. You'll work with a caseload of 36-40 students, providing expertise and care that empowers students and helps them achieve essential communication milestones. This role begins August 3, 2026, and continues through May 20, 2027, offering 32 hours per week for a fulfilling school-year experience. You'll be part of a collaborative, supportive environment where your skills as an SLP—whether you hold your Certificate of Clinical Competence or are working toward your Clinical Fellowship Year—will truly shine. What we're hoping you bring: Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure as an SLP in Arizona SLP-CCC or SLP-CFY designation Experience, coursework, or strong interest in school-based speech therapy Ability to organize and manage a caseload of up to 40 students Commitment to individualized assessment, intervention, and progress monitoring Excellent communication and collaboration skills Your responsibilities: Provide comprehensive speech-language services to preschool through 6th grade students Develop, implement, and document therapy plans and IEP goals Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to ensure student success Assess, track, and report student progress using evidence-based practices Maintain thorough and timely records in compliance with school and state guidelines If you're ready to spark positive change and bring your expertise to a welcoming school community for the 2026-2027 school year, we encourage you to apply now!
