Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Make a meaningful impact supporting students' communication needs as a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist with CCC certification for the upcoming school year. You'll collaborate with educators and families to help students reach their fullest potential, providing direct therapy and consultative services in a dynamic, supportive educational setting just outside Pittsburg, CA.
Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC) required Valid state SLP license, or eligibility for licensure in California Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric setting is preferred Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team
Responsibilities:
Provide speech-language therapy to a diverse caseload of elementary, middle, or high school students Conduct evaluations, develop treatment plans, and document progress according to district and state guidelines Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team decisions Collaborate closely with teachers, staff, and families to support students' academic success and social development Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices
