Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a dynamic school-based environment as a full-time Speech Language Pathologist. Make a meaningful difference supporting K-12 students with communication challenges while collaborating with dedicated educators and families. This contract position offers the opportunity to share your expertise across a diverse range of ages and needs as you help students reach their fullest potential.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology is required Preferred candidates hold a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language and Hearing Association Current "G" Licensure from the NC Department of Public Instruction is necessary Licensure from the Board of Examiners for Speech-Language Pathologists and Audiologists may be considered Experience in school settings and with K-12 populations is highly valued Strong communication, organizational, and collaborative skills
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee and manage a varied K-12 caseload, adapting interventions for diverse student needs Conduct screenings, assessments, and diagnostic evaluations to identify speech and language disorders Develop, implement, and monitor individualized therapy plans and progress Advise teachers and families regarding strategies and resources to support communication goals Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with district and state requirements Participate in IEP meetings and work closely with other educational professionals This contract role provides the chance to take ownership of your schedule within a supportive school community, cultivate strong professional relationships, and contribute to the academic and personal growth of your students.
